Slightly outside the village center, in the heart of Embach’s nature and also one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the Pinzgau region: The Maria Elend Chapel is the ideal place to retreat into oneself and reflect on the essentials while enjoying breathtaking views. Reachable within a 30-minute walk or as the final stop of the Maria Elend pilgrimage from the local parish church via the Calvary Chapel.
Directly next to the chapel is the AugenbrĂĽndl (Eye Spring), where pilgrims can wash their eyes and experience the special healing power of the water.
